We bought this kit after having our second child, we used a different one for our first. I liked this one so much better. The exterior and interior frames are bright white, the clay is very sturdy, and I loved that it came with letter and number stamps to press into the clay. We followed the instructions, and while it took a few rolls to get all the bubbles and cracks out of the clay, we were able to get a hand and footprint that turned out great. Let it dry for a day or two longer than the instructions said and it never cracked or had major lines or ripples. I only wish we used this one for our first child.
