I bought it for a 1-month trip abroad and have been trying to register for several days without success. To use it, first connect to the device wirelessly, then go to the page where you register, and then you can buy day passes (coverage). My heavy orange rock just sent a signal that it's charging at 10%. for hours every time I tried. I went to their tech support site, called (they told me they were busy once - no kidding when this is a product they sell!) and emailed to no avail and decided to give it one last Time to try - I've been driving all over town looking for somewhere with a good AT&T and Verizon signal as I don't know what this thing uses. Finally I was able to download and register it but since I bought it for those times when I am NOT traveling in a big city with a hotel with wifi but rather on country roads or in the province (this trip, Tasmania) with "good" , but not "great" cellular, probably worse than what I have at home or in the office, I'm afraid it will be useless unless I already have Wi-Fi without it, like the loan officer at a wealthy bank . If it works in Australia and New Zealand I'll reconsider my assessment but for now keep in mind that people who 'love' their Skyroom may be in London or Paris or places with great cell towers etc and are buying after your trip. needs.
