Just received this morning and it's almost perfect. We made Bisquick brand waffles and they were more like pancakes, but I'm assuming it's batter and not a waffle iron. The temperature control is excellent. You pour in the batter and close the lid, after a few minutes the green light comes on and the dish is cooked to perfection. My problem is that the metal plates cannot be washed. They cannot be removed for washing. You just have to wipe it with a damp cloth and that's just unhygienic for me. If the panels were removable it would be ideal.
