Review on ๐Ÿ’ฅ Cyberpower 1080 10-Outlet Surge Suppressor - 3600 Joules for Enhanced Protection and Discontinued by Manufacturer by Trevor Rodke

I've done *a lot* of research looking for the best surge protector. The main goal was to have 330V at clamp voltage with at least a decent amount of joules. Let's hope that the 3600J for which it's designed allows these highly sensitive 330V MOVs to last a little longer, as they theoretically shunt voltage to ground a little more often. According to the Cyberpower website, this product has a 330V mount. Technically it's only on the HN line, the other two lines are 400V. Still better than the 500V I've seen on every other surge protector. The packaging was a nasty clam, but my special package opener got the job done quickly. The 8-foot cable is quite thick and offers a good placement option. The plugs are really hard to plug in, but it really helps if you want to mount this upside down under a table. The power button feels solid and hopefully it is given that it gets a lot of use. I tested all 10 fan outlets first to make sure they all work and really work and the strip doesn't explode or smoke. Two outlets had a retractable cover that popped out when trying to unplug, but they were easy to put back on. All switch covers opened and closed easily.
