This photo printer was very easy to use. I was a bit intimidated at first because of the many steps in the manual, but I was able to set everything up instinctively and the little machine was ready to print photos in less than 3 minutes. I especially liked that I didn't have to find an outlet to plug it in or adjust settings through my cellphone like most IoT devices do these days. The photos were cute and retro. It takes some practice to find the right balance of light: display brightness and room lighting. Yes, ROOM LIGHTING too! I printed a photo onto my blinds and the photo came out with stripes. I think the light coming through the cracks in my window blinds somehow affected the print. Other than that, I don't mind because that's part of the fun. You can adjust the lighting to create the perfect retro look, not an industrial style photo print. I think it will also be a good educational toy for kids to start thinking about the mechanism of the camera and photos. Overall excellent value at just under $40. Ideal as a gift or for home use. that it will be a good educational toy for kids to think about the mechanism of the camera and photos. Overall excellent value at just under $40.
