I have used several other Scosche magnetic phone holders in the past and they all worked well but I cannot recommend this one. The magnet holds my iPhone X perfectly. The problem is in the steering knuckle. Just a few weeks after I started using it, it slowly started swaying from side to side to the point where my phone is already swaying left or right when turning on a bend in the road. I suspect there is a screw or bolt inside holding the fallen arm, but there is no way to access the screw. The photos show that I put down a small measuring spoon (which is much lighter than my phone) and swung to the left (viewed from the front, base first) solely by that weight. Also included is a picture of the area where the swing arm comes out of the base and you can see it's not flush on all sides; one side protrudes and the other side is flush. I don't know if it's a defect or what, but the problems didn't even start a month after purchase - this is poor quality. Let's hope all other Scosche phone holders last longer.
