Review on Mount Flex Adhesive Base 1 Inch by Tai Wiest

I like most Ram Mounts products. This isn't one of them. I purchased this item in November which is a cool month in Texas. I followed the instructions for proper surface cleaning and installation. In April, I ran into trouble when the adhesive came loose and I found the phone mount on the car seat. It seems to happen under the influence of hot sunlight. I'm not sure what brand of glue they use but they must be thinking about replacing them because I had to remove the glue and buy 3M glue that just holds. The ball and base feel sturdy and it would be a 5 star product if it adhered properly to the windshield.
