The start/replace button never worked, that's .

The start/replace button never worked from the start, so I was wondering if it had been used before. I received a letter from the company offering to replace the filter with a working button for free, but never received it. My hair doesn't seem to be softer which leads me to believe a lot of them aren't that effective.
