Breach of contract for me: I bought these gloves because they were advertised as leather gloves (genuine lambskin leather to be exact) and priced appropriately. However, when I received them, it was pretty obvious that they weren't leather. Leather always has a very distinct smell and while they smell very strongly on their own, they don't smell like leather at all, more like vinyl or plastic (strong chemical/plastic smell). Fuax leather isn't exactly a deal breaker for me, but when I buy leather gloves I expect it to be leather - just like that, and for that reason I'll be returning these gloves. However *unless* you expect them to be leather I will say they appear to be very good gloves. Actually that's why it took me a few days to finally decide to return them (they were good enough, I seriously considered keeping them for myself but in the end I couldn't get past what looked like a lure and spare) . as I didn't get what I thought I was buying - also the smell was very strong and although it may have dissipated over time I'm prone to headaches from some of the stronger perfumes and chemicals and have found the smell to be a little gives way to a headache if I leave her without my bag in the same room I've been in for a while). If you don't care what material these gloves are made of, read the rest of my impressions/review: : So the gloves themselves are actually very elegant and beautiful gloves (more than I expected), very thin but with soft Material lined (probably cashmere, I have no way to prove or disprove this) but they were still soft and felt like it would be pretty good for keeping your hands cold on a winter's day. I suspect that the faux leather actually helped keep the glove's thin, smooth look even though it's lined, as I'm not sure leather can be made that thin and still hold up. In terms of sizing, I'd say the gloves fit pretty well - I have very small hands (8 inches according to Revain's measurement guidelines, which puts me in a masculine small *borderline* XS). I bought Smalls in these gloves and while they fit me fairly well, there wasn't much room in my fingers (not much, maybe 1/8 inch). find it fits "like a glove" (I assume the material it's made of is less prone to stretching than leather, so it's probably a good decision by the manufacturer to ensure that most people get a decent fit). The Bad: Aside from the aforementioned fact that they don't feel like real leather, unlike how Amazon advertises them, the only other issue is that they actually smell. They have a very strong odor and unlike leather, they don't smell 't. particularly pleasant. I believe this smell will fade over time and the average person might not find it as problematic as I do, but I can't say for sure. ride when it's cold and not particularly what material they are made of, in fact these would be pretty decent gloves to consider and I would recommend them and that's why they only get 2 stars. genuine* leather, then look elsewhere. I've never heard of real leather smelling like cheap shower curtains they remind me of and these gloves definitely don't smell like leather I've ever seen.
