You have a trick I still don't understand
I spent several hours cutting and dicing some LED strips to make the light bigger. Sometimes the material connected quite well, and sometimes the wires continued to stretch. I ended up soldering the connectors in several places because I couldn't get the connector to work. They work, are difficult to open and almost plug in on the first try, but with poor eyesight and shaky hands it took a while to partially complete my project. As I said, I ended up soldering two connectors to make the LEDs work.
