I really don't understand why Sony doesn't allow you to connect bluetooth headphones to your PS4 but they do. If I buy $250 headphones I can use them for anything! Anyway, I bought this adapter for my PS4 to use with Beats Studio 3 Wireless and it works really well! I didn't experience any audio lag and it took me a minute to figure out how to connect the adapter/headphones, but it's not advanced math so everything works fine. I had a 2 hour gaming session and the connection didn't drop at all plus everyone could hear me loud and clear! It is worth noting that this adapter has two modes. When you turn it on for the first time, it is most likely in "music mode". That means the sound quality is much better, but most importantly, you CANNOT speak into it. It doesn't receive audio input. However, if you double-click the button on the adapter, it will go into "talk mode". My only complaint about this device is that the call audio quality is a bit poor. There's nothing obnoxious about that, and I'm sure it could have been worse for a $25 adapter. It works great for speaking to people, but the audio quality is slightly better than a regular phone call. I tried turning on the game sound and the chat sound at the same time, but the quality of the game sound sounded so bad in talk mode that I decided to play only the game sound through my stereo and only the chat sound through my headphones. Really, but that's my only complaint and it doesn't matter. This Bluetooth adapter definitely helped me save some money by allowing me to use my Beats I bought over the summer instead of buying another $100+ licensed Sony gaming headset to have to. If you have a good pair of bluetooth headphones that are "not supported" for PS4 and you just want to use them for mic chat, then this adapter is perfect for you! Be sure to spend $25! That saves a lot of money! By the way, if you use the adapter in music mode, the sound quality is very good. I just can't use it for chatting ;)
