While it feels solid overall, tolerances are an issue. The USB port on the end of the hub (in particular) requires you to insert the USB connector there by pushing it in, rather than gently pushing it in like other hubs. I've tried different peripherals with the same result. Additionally, some peripherals have a USB connector that partially protrudes when plugged in, rather than being flush with the hub itself. I've never had a problem like this with a USB hub. Again, I believe this is a tolerance and build quality issue, as the insufficient depth of the USB slot allows for proper connection of peripherals, resulting in occasional disconnects. Extremely disappointed with this purchase.
