Bought for and now used in storage cabinet. I read useful reviews and bought based on sensible, balanced and reasonable answers. I'm not disappointed. With proper use and clear expectations, this is a great solution to your darkness problems. First great light. Second, easy installation. Third, USB is rechargeable. No more batteries! Now for usage. Let me point out that another reviewer reported that they initially had trouble detecting motion until they used a small piece of tape to cover the light sensor. This device will not turn on when the detected ambient light is more than 10 lux. It's not that much light and personally I don't understand how to use this particular sensor. At least it should be switchable, but it isn't. The solution is to simply cut out a piece of dark colored tape and stick on the light sensor. As already mentioned. (Of course, this is unless you intend to use this light in a cave or 100% dark area). BAMM! The problem is solved. Now we open the pantry and "Viola! Light! Close the door and. BAM! After 20 seconds, the light miraculously goes out! No need. PS: The motion detector is the key to the usefulness and functionality of this product. It is almost perfect for any application. If you can install that new toilet paper roll properly, you can install and use this light. BAM !
