Review on FIIL CANVIIS Cancelling Headphones White by Jason Childs

These are a direct competitor to the Beats Solo3, but in almost every way they really are second to none. The sound on FIIL CANVIIS is more transparent and simply has more detail in the presence range. These headphones are a win-win over ALL the competition, not just the Beats. I would also compare them to the B&O H8 and H8i which I think are inferior in both sound and function (sent both back, poor quality control, defects). FIIL does something the Beats Solo3 doesn't. - ANC (normal, windy, open mic) - Application control - 3D sound enhancement (good for certain applications) - Equalizer presets (bass, normal, treble) - Sensors that pause the music when headphones are removed (proximity sensors) - Certification Hi-Res - Touch controls - Hardcase - aptX While the Solo3 has a slight advantage for battery and distance with the W1 chip, FIIL has Class 1 Bluetooth which increases the range even if the other device is Class 2 and the battery lasts up to 33 hours.
