Because I despise being tethered to something by a cable, I only purchase electronic gadgets that are cordless and have Bluetooth connectivity. There is not an exemption made for the keyboard. The decision came down to either an Apple Magic Keyboard or a Logitech MX Keyboard for the most part. The lower cost and the presence of backlighting on the Logitech keyboard swayed my decision in favor of that brand over an Apple keyboard in black. The keyboard gave off the impression of being of high-quality, which pleasantly surprised me; I have high hopes that it will serve me well for many years to come. P.S. I am aware that every other person despises a short left shift, but if you use a PC device, this really shouldn't come as a surprise to you if you use a Mac. Since I started using Macs in 2022, I've become familiar with several different variations of keyboard shortcuts that can be used to manipulate the Mac axis. Since then, the keyboard shortcut command plus the button depicting a tilde, a comma, and square brackets, which is placed to the right of the left shift key, has become second nature to me. I try to use it whenever I can. Therefore, pressing this combination toggles between all of the windows that are currently open within a single application. For instance, if you have many Excel files, Word documents, or several windows in the browser, such as normal and incognito, this combination will switch between all of those windows in turn. Because of my line of work, I frequently have to work in Word and Excel at the same time with a big number of documents. As a result of the frequency with which I employ this combination, the one button that allows me to do so is not present on the American keyboard layout; consequently, I am forced to use the rst button on the Apple device. After experimenting on this keyboard while Windows was running, I came to the conclusion that the keyboard has a ridiculously high number of bugs, and I would not recommend using it for Windows. I do not change the number of balls from five to four because I took one for poppy. But to be fair, I believe Windows is to fault, which is strange because I haven't reinstalled it since 2022 (but that's another tale).
