I LOVE the long cord. Other than that, it's not much different from other cheap curling irons from Walmart. I had 6 of these. They don't seem to damage my hair as quickly and as badly as the cheap ones. The clips are still falling apart so the hair won't hold. The buttons on the last one just fell out, I was able to put them back in, but obviously wrong as they never worked after that. LONG cord is the reason I buy them. LOVE the fact that I don't have to be 3ft from a mirror, I can move around and still be productive. WISH IT WAS FULLY WIRELESS. WHY can't they make cordless hair curlers and hair dryers? Works well overall and lasts less than a year, usually with daily morning use only. worth $$? depends on what you want. I say yes only because of the length of the cable.
