I use this product all the time to gently clean colored hair, so I don't use too many more expensive products. (I dyed my hair red, and if you've dyed it before, you know how brittle it is and how easy it is to wash out.) My husband really enjoys using it, too. I use it on my cats too and it helps keep them nice and clean without drying out their skin and rinses really clean so I'm not worried about them swallowing the soap when they frantically lick themselves dry.
