I was looking for a kettle that would look nice in my kitchen and decided it was worth paying more for because it's so stylish. So I paid more than I should have and got a piece of junk. I've had it less than a month and the paint is peeling, the handle is falling off (yes I can tighten the screws that hold it in place but if I really have to) and the inside is rusted and distressed rendered it unusable. The fact that the lid doesn't come off without a fight, the handle on the lid dangles, the handle gets hot and you can burn your hand, and that it doesn't pour drip-free because it looks good, I was happy to ignore. but rust is dangerous.
