Review on Panasonic HDC SD40K Camcorder Discontinued Manufacturer by Mark Toth

So I bought this as a budget option for my family. I won't go into the specs, just what you need to know as a regular Joe. Zoom is good @12x, fairly stable when standing but wobbles when walking. The quality of the video really depends on the lighting. When it's dark it has a tiny light which is honestly not great. I wouldn't recommend it in low light as it blurs everything which is a major downside. Uses an SD card and comes with a USB cable to transfer files from the camera to a computer (you can also insert an SD card into your computer). I would buy a bigger card, at least 16GB so you don't have to keep deleting photos and videos. Overall for $120 I'm happy and it suits my current needs. If you are looking for the best quality, you should pay for it.
