Nice 3 in 1 jacket. It consists of an outer rain cover and a fleece lining that can be opened and worn like a jacket. More on each part. Shell: * Waterproof/breathable, seams are taped to stay dry. * Built-in hood. No drawstring (this is a kids coat) but it rolls up and stows in the collar.* Elastic cuffs on sleeves.* Reflective piping on yoke of jacket.* Zippered pockets with pull tabs. Mesh is throughout the sleeve area on most of the body.* Name patch on both sides of the jacket.* Fleece lining around the inside of the collar and zipper protection with material flaps. There is a very nice touch here. fleece lining. * Jacket with zip and button closure on sleeves * Front pockets with zip, no other pockets like chest pockets. (Again, this is a kid's coat so I'm not sure I was expecting that.) Combined warmth factor. Together this makes a good late fall jacket and a winter jacket when it comes to my son down south. However, for midwestern and northern winters, this is probably a three-season coat and might be better with a warm sweater underneath. built has a great design in my opinion and is very functional.
