Review on IIT 78000 Mini Table Vice: Compact and Versatile Tool for Precision Work by Jimmy Hargrove

This little vise is fantastic for my watchmaker house! I attach it directly to a 3/4 piece of plywood that I cut out to fit the stand I use as a portable workbench. There is only one disadvantage. Jaws MAKE your workpiece. I get around this by lining the jaws with rubberized tape when I need to protect them from scratches. Works great! I wish it had a small flat anvil on the back of the movable jaw, but that doesn't interfere in any way. I will soon buy a second one and maybe a third one as a backup and for stretching longer pieces! Really great purchase!
