3 rock falls out the window but $70 is crazy in my area. If you drive 120 miles a day on bad California roads, this is a very useful and extremely easy-to-use tool. I don't buy the resin they sell as I just buy a similar $10 kit that includes the resin. I've used Regen x resin 4 times with this metal kit and it works just like the original they recommend buying. Save more money and get a rain kit and use this resin, the same runny material used to inject into glass. Overall the shaft is stainless steel and the aluminum is the resin holding plate and suction cup. Excellent quality and very good. The pressure of the stainless steel plunger as you inject the resin into the crack will indicate you are using it correctly, an 8 year old can do it so don't stress. I did my first rock chip and it was gone and only the hole I made with the dremel is visible but the crack was filled in just like a window repairman would. For the first time with excellent professional results. A tip: don't use heat or you'll discolor the laminate, just take your time and let the glue soak in. The suction cup is very strong so you'll be glad you spent the money on this kit. I could have found it on Alibaba for a lot less but I needed it now so I paid the price. Have a look around and look for a similar one if it is high end but all I can say is that this kit is great quality and costs $1 compared to paying a handyman. Works as expected, all parts are of very good quality.
