I weigh 140 lbs, 36 C/D bust, 5ft 5in. I ordered M and L to be on the safe side. The average size was too small. Good quality product. However, the underbust band is too wide, so my rather voluminous bust is not supported. The pads come out and as the halter is lined it works great with or without the pads. I could have asked my seamstress to put it on tape under my chest, but then the tape gets so tight that it will be difficult for me to pull it over my head (I'm 69 years old). small compared to my chest. I hope this review helps potential buyers. It's very cute and the bottoms fit me perfectly plus size. It was worth a try, but I give both back.
