Update: Replacement bread slicing guide arrived intact and clean. I've used it a lot and it works quite well for the price. It's a bit flimsy, but it costs a few bucks to even have slices of bread. Although a little wider would be nice. Bread doesn't always work. This bread slicing guide broke right out of the box. One of the small protrusions on the pole was broken. I also noticed spots. At first I thought it was just discolored plastic until it wore out. I will update this review after going through the return process and getting a replacement.
