The build quality is not great, the buttons are wobbly and don't feel very good to press. The screen fades slightly when you look at it at an angle. The beeping sound has two volume levels (and a silent mode) but even the quieter mode is still quite loud and annoying, but not terribly so. However, it's cheap, it's pretty big, and it works great as a timer. I use it for studying: set it for 30 to 60 minutes, put my phone away and just study distraction-free until the time is up. Since it's pretty big, I can easily see how much time I have left when it's standing on my desk. It's been a great improvement to my productivity.
