Review on Lysignal LM2596 Supply Adjustable Converter by Mike Swanson
Buy another one because they won't help you
I connected it to a power supply, 14v to be exact. One of the capacitors started getting very hot and the damn thing started smoking. I read in another listing of 5 packs that people recommend buying several because they either fail right away or eventually fail sooner rather than later. I'm sure this buck converter will work, but maybe I just got a bad one.
