Don't buy this thinking it's some Sonos pocket oracle barking. This is for people who understand how a small, inexpensive radio with a cassette deck usually sounds - not surprising, but it's for sitting at the kitchen table or taking with you to a picnic or anywhere. The great option is that it's bluetooth enabled, its low price, perfect size/shape and you can record to cassette from any other playback option. I haven't had any problems with the bluetooth connection and use it every day. weeks. My cassette played fine, but YOU MUST INSERT YOUR TEST TAPE (don't use the one you like!) FAST FORWARD THEN THEN BACK BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY. You should always do this with any analog device that accepts a cassette, especially if it's old and/or cheap. I've read about people eating cassettes and it probably has more to do with what they played their cassettes on before putting them in this player. He didn't eat any of my tapes or act weird. If you're looking for a cheap old-school music player like you had as a teenager PLUS new-school features that really matter, get this one.
