I received this unit and installed it in the attic of a three story house on a hill. Most local stations are within 20 miles in the Half Mile area. Regardless of the angle, it's almost impossible to get a signal from the local NBC affiliate, but I get a clear signal from the local FOX affiliate. Both are in the same building. Reception is sub-par at 20 miles, so the 120-mile claim is a joke. In order to get a decent signal, the TV must be connected directly to the amplifier unit. Add a splitter downstream and you will lose channels. I am currently considering buying a signal booster or active splitter to be able to pass the signal to 3 TVs. Do not buy this antenna if you do not know how to use it. The manual (a piece of paper) is by far the worst I've seen, so you'll have to guess how to put it together. The horizontal dipoles are held in place with plastic wing nuts. 2 out of 4 wing nuts were broken. You will need to mount this antenna on a 3/4 inch pole. It comes with a long coax cable, but I've never seen a cable that thin before, so I ended up using my own cable. All in all a waste of money, I had to spend over $60 to get a decent antenna from a reputable manufacturer.
