It really works. I used it to mount an external drive right next to my Mac Mini which is mounted under my desk. It sticks very well. And as described, I was able to remove it and paste it elsewhere. It adheres very well and leaves no film when peeled off. I don't know how they did it but I'll be buying two more soon. I don't game, so I don't have computers with big cases that can hold multiple drives, so I rely on external devices to store videos, music, and pictures.
