My daughter loves her new bed and loves every princess! There are several princesses on the bed, so telling her she's not alone in her first bedroom makes it a little easier to fall asleep. The assembly took two people and more than an hour. It depends on the person. I'm a reader, dad isn't much if it's not sports or news so he can't work alone. The canopy goes down so be alert. It needs some tweaking to make it look right once it's hung and your child has started to poke at it. This is a stable bed and your child will be safe in it. My baby doesn't fall out and I'm very happy with it. I edited my review to add that the canopy doesn't fall down when you twist the white sticks that come together. Insert as directed, then rotate until the dome is as straight as it should be. I recently found that out! The bed is still like new!
