Thoracic Spine Support Fair - By Chiropractor

I am a chiropractor and was looking for a little more thoracic support for my wife. These braces go with it - but good. Lumbar support is ok, but this device is more for posture correction than support. The thoracic spine is the area from the first to the last rib, i.e. just below the neck to the last rib. Run your finger from the bottom of the last rib to the middle of your back. Approximately where the last rib (12th rib) attaches to the last thoracic vertebra (12th thoracic vertebra). The problem with the chest brace is that you'll probably need something to wrap your entire stomach like your lumbar spine does. But normal breathing also puts strain on the muscles between the ribs. So you don't want anything to compress that, which is why there isn't much. My wife has severe arthritis throughout her spine, so I'm not going to correct it (in case you're wondering). So if you're looking for something for the mid-back, this is fair. You'll probably have to try it and see if it offers the support you need. If not, Revane doesn't mind bringing it back. Just be aware that the size is small and any braces are no excuse for poor lifting technique.
