This is a fun LED flashlight. The build quality is better than I expected from such a cheap flashlight. The light output isn't very bright for a main light source, but that's not what this light is designed for. (At 3 feet from the subject my settings were 1/125, f/4, ISO 1600 for proper exposure). But as an accent light for video, the thing is very cool (1/30, f/2.8, ISO 200). When used with a calibrated light source, the white balance appears accurate. It heats up and takes on a blue-white color. This would be a great thin fill light coming off the camera that you can adjust for both daylight and incandescent with decent accuracy. However, I will mainly use RGB aspects for accent lighting. The Hue/Saturation/Lightness settings allow you to select any RGB value. For edge and ambient lighting that would be pretty cool. TIP (I had to read the manual for this), hold "M" to switch to RBG mode. I have to admit I would have preferred the RBG button instead of long holding this feature. It has some fun "FX" modes like police cars, TV flicker, broken lights, and fire (plus a few more). Quite suitable for use as a practical light source. It's small and compact (about the size of a professional camera). There is a built-in soft magnet. He supports himself, but not very much. I can use it to hold paper on the fridge, but I can't bear the weight. The diffuser screen is simple and effective. I will most likely keep it on all the time unless I need extra light output. The cold shoe is made of plastic and has a classic screw cap (on all Godox flashlights). I wish they would switch to something more user friendly like almost every other flash manufacturer does. You can also connect other lights to it with the built-in cold shoe mounts. This works great for any constant lighting, but I don't think the "FX" modes sync very well with all lights. In no way a violation of the terms of the contract. Overall, this is a cool little light. It finds a spot in my site lighting bag for its compact size and versatility. I'll probably take 2 more, so I like practical lighting a bit.
