I am a keen seamstress but have recently done some quilting projects. I stumbled across this felted pillow and found it to be as good in the quality of my work as it is in quality what makes a big difference is the time it takes to complete it. The pad absorbs steam from the iron, effectively ironing both sides of the fabric at the same time with clean, crisp lines. This size fits my ironing board well and comfortably offers more surface area than the smaller one There is a slight smell when wool picks up steam but it just smells like wet wool and flies away quickly. I am very satisfied with the product and use it often now.
