This is a very cute set! I love the colors - they are retro but look modern and not vulgar at all. I expect this set would go well with any standard 1/12 scale dollhouse you put it in and it will easily mix and match with other dollhouse sets whether you own it or not. My 2.5 year old loves to play with it. She can come up with so many imaginative scenarios because this set has some really cool features and accessories: all open and close doors (like oven, cupboard, fridge) and accessories can be placed anywhere (they consist of pot, saucepan, kitchen towel and something Similar to a blender/coffee maker). I've included a picture of what the set looks like in the Le Toy Van dollhouse and I've also placed a Melissa & Doug doll next to it to give you an idea of the size. But be careful, the doll itself is tall (5″+). I love the fact that everything is made out of wood and the manufacturer claims the paint is food safe. Happy with my purchase!
