I hardly ever review anything but I am very happy with this product and I have to share it. That's exactly what I need. I set up our canteen as a virtual school for my three children. I bought a cubic organizer and wanted to be able to charge laptops in cubic cells without a bulky surge protector falling all over the floor. This is an ingenious device. I was able to secure it in the middle compartment so the cables could come out the back and charge all 3 laptops at the same time. The flat plug means I can hold the cube organizer right against the wall in the corner where the outlet is, and the switch only controls standard outlets, so we can leave laptop chargers plugged in but turn them off when they're not are connected. Phones need via USB and still charge. The point where the electrical cord connects to the surge protector also pivots so it can be connected either in front of or behind the and the electrical cord doesn't stick out in an odd direction. I'm so glad I finally found this. I began to despair.
