You have been very helpful. I needed this to make sure I knew when my mother with dementia would get up at night. It worked great, we were able to set the detector to only pick up her movement when she passes her dresser on her way out the door, and I was able to put the receiver right next to my bed, which has been really helpful since we have to keep the fan on most of the year as it's always freezing. The volume control and so many ringtones are a definite plus. It's also really nice that you can turn off the light on the motion sensor so mom doesn't even know he's there.
