I ordered a size 8 but should have ordered a size up. small - the tongue is very thin, I actually ordered it for myself. I ordered a size 8 hoping they weren't too big as I usually wear a size 7 1/2. They were definitely too small. So I gifted them to my daughter who is a size 7-7 1/2 and although they "fit" they are definitely very tight. Otherwise the shoes are cute. A bit bulky looking (as you would expect). Wide laces in a very shiny pink with blue undertones on the back of the heel and clear bubbles on the big soles complete the beautiful modern style. I admit they still look better on my daughter. She likes the sole as it adds 1/2 to 1 inch to her height. The tongue is thinner than we're used to from tennis shoes, which isn't really a problem. The insoles are firmer than I expected. It has a slight arch, but don't expect a lot of support on that end. The heels are a bit high and dig into the back of the heel. My daughter had red chafing in her socks and was only in her shoes for 1/2 hour. We weren't entirely thrilled and wouldn't buy them again, but I can't say they're terrible either as they're cute.
