I have a chronic skin condition that can cause pain when using synthetic or inferior products. This is why I love emu oil as it helps with inflammation, is deeply moisturizing and is gentle on my skin. I have ordered this brand before and it seemed to me that this is good emu oil. I just received my second order and it is gritty. This caused a very painful reaction in my skin. The label says it doesn't expire until 2021, so it's not like it's gone bad. If it's just a bad batch then unfortunately it can't be returned or exchanged and I can't contact the company through this website. I spend a lot of dollars on medical bills and medication, so every dollar counts. If you are looking for emu oil I would suggest spending a little more for a more consistent brand with better quality control. I usually buy Leven Rose Emu Oil but chose this one as it's a bit cheaper. In two years of using different brands of emu oil, I have never had such a gritty effect. In the photos you can see the sand on the rim under the pump, on the straw and on the rim of the bottle.
