So I got that for several reasons. One for extra luggage (obviously) I could carry and one to add a fender to my bike. This is a great stand and does the job well. Here's a subtlety: if you have cables (brake or derailleur) that run along the frame, the struts designed for them will interfere, since they are clamped to the frame. I ended up just using a side brace, which worked well for my purpose. The included bolts are quite long and can get very close to the spokes on the rear wheel, but I haven't had any friction or contact issues. In general, I liked the rack, I will continue to use it.
