The Airfryer's detachable lid can be placed on this stand when not in use and will stay in place and always ready for use. The holder is an accent piece that can be added to food so you can have all your pressure cooker and fryer lids right there and you don't have to put the lid on the counter and you don't have to store the lid anywhere but with the food. I also bought a steam baffle which is great for directing that steam everywhere but into your cupboards and it's easier to get the dump valve in the right position without burning yourself when the steam is very fast and strong exit. They do have some vapor deflectors but I settled on a yellow/blue one which I believe is called Minion, or if that's not his name it's a blue/yellow character with a big round head and big round eyes. this is one of his heads. It's great and a must have for anyone who has food or anything that has a steam vent on the top lid. Hope that helps. Both are not expensive at all.
