In general, I was rather satisfied with the vacuum. Use and storage are a breeze, and it holds up nicely in the washing machine. This vacuum cleaner brings joy to a 10-year-old boy as he cleans his room. However, there is, as is customary, a fly in the ointment. Since yesterday, pressing the button results in nothing happening. The website states plainly that service will be unavailable from December 29 until January 9. The water supply button wasn't shorted out, so I tested the handle's contacts with a tester. The handle only had three screws and a couple of latches, so I took it apart with ease. The button's push bar snapped off completely. Because the plastic is so flimsy and the pressure protrusion is positioned in front of the mikrik rather than above it, I can only conclude that it was designed to shatter under normal use. Okay, I poured some hot glue where it needed to go, and everything should stay that way for the next two minutes. However, the sediment did not wash away. The gadget isn't dirt cheap because the button materials were skimped on.
