I bought it in June 2017 and in October I noticed that it was rusting around the lid. It is now December and the rust on the lid has spread quite a bit. Very disappointing as it is a beautiful teapot; but I'm not sure I'd pay again knowing it would rust in less than six months. inferior quality. UPDATE Jan 2018: Rust is getting more and more extensive. Very disappointing because I really liked the look of this teapot. Also, it's like the bottom jumped out a bit and now it jumps all over the stove when I use it. I've completely stopped using it as it makes me nervous that it will go away completely (probably unrealistic I know, but still). For the money I expected better quality. Very disappointed with this kettle.
