Let me start by saying that I started with the stainless steel socket set. It was/was nice! But with a lot of fat. Water stains and film left by your food if you haven't soaked your pots. And no, I didn't overcook or overheat. It drove me crazy Repackaged the set to give to my niece. When I saw this set I was blown away and couldn't be happier. I like nested set abilities. Instead of a cupboard, which I keep in a deep drawer next to the stove, they all fit in with plenty of room to move. The lid stand is located on the counter within reach of the stove. I didn't rate scratch resistance because I'm very careful with it and only use wooden, hard plastic, nylon, or silicone utensils. Never metal. Very happy with my purchase.
