Someone at work prepared a discotheque using these speakers, but after that only two woofers played, so I had to fix them. Both of the tweeters in the speakers burned out, and one of the speakers even had its midrange speaker burn out. I am unable to comment on the quality of the speakers; however, I can state that the cones of all of the speakers are made of plastic and are see-through. Throughout the process of disassembling the speakers, I had high hopes of discovering some kind of fuse but the manufacturer did not provide for it. This "Acoustic system's" filter is so expensive that it doesn't even qualify as "affordable"! The "crystal clear sound" that is being transmitted through the "audiophile" wires ends up in a murky pool of electrolyte inside of inexpensive capacitors and in coils that have a ferrite core. Reportedly, this muddled state of affairs is what causes these speakers to produce a very "bright and juicy sound." "Zobel's chain" is being consumed by the economy, which is only natural))) It is recommended that, rather than varnishing, an additional ten dollars be spent on filters in order to install high-quality film capacitors and wind coils that do not have a core.
