I like these measuring spoons because they have such a thoughtful and practical design. Each spoon has a magnet built into the center handle so the magnets will hold the spoons together when they are "snapped together". This is a great idea for at least two reasons: first, they fit so compactly that they take up less room in your drawer. In addition, you can easily find any size spoons you need as they are always bundled together. No more wasting time searching your desk drawer for 1/4 teaspoon and then searching for 1/2 teaspoon again and again. Another aspect of this thoughtful design is that each spoon has a rounded bowl at one end and an oval bowl at the other. So if you use a round bowl to measure out something wet like vanilla or butter, you still have a clean bowl at the other end to measure out dry ingredients without having to wash and dry the spoon first. I also like having an oval bowl on each spoon because they are thin enough to fit in many narrower spice jars. All in all this is an amazing set! I never thought I could say so much about a set of measuring spoons, but I really love them because of the many benefits of their smart design.
