We bought this bag for clothes to use on our daughter's wedding trip out of town. My husband and I had all of our dresses in one bag: the mother of the bride's dress, his suit, and some of his other shirts. The pocket was long enough for my dress. It's light yet strong enough for our needs. As it was a set of 2 bags we gave our other daughter an extra one for her bridesmaid dress so very handy! There is a metal grommet that can be used for a loop on the hanger to fold the bag in half, but as we had multiple items in the bag (multiple hangers) we were unable to use this feature. We still folded it in half to put it on top of our suitcases etc in the back of the car, but when carrying it in and out of the car we only had to carry it full length. I love the see through panel at the top so you can see what's inside and the lower mesh zippered pockets at the bottom for shoes or accessories. Definitely recommend!
