Review on πŸ’œ Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 8, 64GB in Orchid Gray for AT&T Customers by Mohammad Taufik ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

Only the fingerprint scanner remains, but it is located on the back of the phone, so what if the phone is on the table next to you? YES - lift and crawl under the phone with your finger. And at first I also ordered a beautiful case for myself, but its thickness was slightly larger than that of the simplest silicone case - and therefore there was not enough space to place a finger and the print was recognized after a time - I had to return to a simple transparent silicone case. Paid 70 tyr. this Korean burp is clearly not worth it, but I still put 3 stars, because. not the fact that the listed functions work for other manufacturers. Let's say Apple doesn't provide screen duplication on a PC monitor at all, unless you have an iMac. That's what we have to have. We adapt good technique to ourselves - we adjust ourselves to bad technique.

Pros
  • As usual, Samsung has been doing it since the 2022s - in terms of functionality, almost everything that is possible is declared in the phone. But as it usually turns out in practice, half of all this does not work at all, and you yourself refuse to use the second half due to the implementation curve. Now I remember - before buying this gadget, I wanted everything and a lot))) I wanted the phone to automatically communicate with the car radio via BT . Write notes with a stylus on the screen . Work with applications duplicated on the PC screen wirelessly . Shoot and edit "on the spot" high-quality video . Replace a purse with cards and money for a purse with a phone inside (replacing both cards and money) And a lot, a lot, now after 2 years of operation it's already hard to remember.
Cons
  • Well, in fact - immediately the first blow in the stomach - as a gift DEKS STATION, which made a surcharge of 10tyr. in the price tag, but is not needed and for nothing - I just can’t think of a case in which it would come in handy . In addition, stick a phone into it immediately hitting the USB-C fitting into the charging socket is a whole art, with the development of which the life of the phone's charging socket will obviously be short-lived. And then - wretched duplication on the screen of a working PC and only with the help of a wire (((It is duplicated on the screen of a home PC through the VF, but it is so inhibited that I myself voluntarily gradually refused to use this function - I just don’t want to now. High-quality video - Yes. But it weighs - dear mother. Sending it to someone is unrealistic, even just transferring it to a USB flash drive or computer is time-consuming. Connecting via BT to the car radio is possible, but due to constant failures of glitches and other misunderstandings between the phone and the radio I don’t feel like it anymore . Plus, the countdown timer constantly hovering in the subconscious until the moment of discharge, which is approaching inexorably - the charge is melting before my eyes (it’s good that this is not critical for me - I put the phone at home on wireless, and at work it is connected to computer). But if my route is not only "home-work", then I have to recharge in the car. Writing with a stylus is good and convenient - you can quickly get it and make a note on the screen off. It would seem - like . But! The note may not be saved - notes disappeared several times, which I did not save immediately after writing, but in order to save it - as usual, you need to perform a dance with a tambourine. As a result, I voluntarily refused this function. Yes - I no longer carry cards and cash, but I don’t consider this an advantage of this particular phone model. Recognition by the iris of the eye or face ID is a stillborn function due to pressing the ear while talking on the phone just to the place where the front camera is located (the camera β€œsmeared”) after which it refuses to recognize both the irises and the face.
