First let me say that I could smell it through the bag when I received this hair. The smell of some kind of chemical substance on the hair. When I washed it the water was light brown and the chemical smell was REALLY strong. I'm guessing it was some kind of chemical used to give it body waves. When I started ironing it, some threads got stuck to my iron. I posted the video but I had to speed it up so you don't have to sit during my hikes. Please excuse what a mess I look and my big forehead is getting late lol. I've never seen human hair melt like that, I have a feeling it might be a mix with synthetics. After getting the hair the way I wanted it looked pretty good. Not sure I would buy from here again =/update after wearing it all day today I ran my fingers through the gutter and a few hairs come out
