Factory reset needed again

Bought this tablet for my son for Christmas. Has worked for a good month. The tablet was not used for about a month, during this time the battery lay down. When we turned it back on, it reset the date to September and the time to 12:00 AM. We had to factory reset the device to be able to use it again. The next time the battery died, we had the same problem. Unfortunately, we have reached the end of the Revain return period. I regret not going with the children's fire tray.
