Now that I have a shiny new 11 speed transmission, I wanted a chain plier for touring and bike adventures that was lighter than my Park Tool pliers. These Wolf Tooth pliers came highly recommended to me online and in person so I figured at $35 it was worth it. Well, I can report that they are absolutely worth their money. I *love* the fact that it holds two quick releases in the grips and the magnetic closure is smooth. I'm pretty sure the pivot pin is also a chainring pin, which is pretty cool, although I'm not sure I can use it with my current setup. There are services you can count on, especially off-road where the risk of chain breakage is much higher and getting help to limp home is far more important. It's a must have for me because I'm touring for several weeks and weekends throughout the year so it's a good buy. I'm only taking one star off my rating because I think it would be trivial and cool to have a 10mm wrench or screwdriver handy, but it really doesn't matter much and I have a true multi-tool with those attributes. Tools (but no way to detach the quicklink or keep the quicklink!)
